In a bid to further develop Nigerian coaches in the modern knowledge of the game, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will in conjunction with FIFA be staging a 5-day coaching clinic.www.owosports.com.ng.
It was gathered that the course is scheduled to take place at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja from 6th to 10th December 2021.
When called ,the President of Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Ladan Bosso stated that the programme is going to attract resource persons within and outside the country.
Bosso further said “we asked the coaches to fill a form and send through their state chapter association and it’s from those forms they filled that’s where we look at their credentials and look at those ones who will be able to be part of the training”
Invited coaches across the states of the federation are expected to report for the programme latest on December 5.
Recall that a train-the-trainer coaching course, organised by the NFF, in collaboration with the Confederation of Africans de Football (CAF), had earlier held in October with 32 coaches participating.
The clinic is yet another efforts from the FIFA and NFF tailored towards equiping the coaches in a bid to raise the standard of the game.
The programme is going to hold under the auspices of the NFF Technical department.
