AC Milan have officially pulled the plug on Victor Boniface’s transfer after the Nigerian striker failed to pass his medical tests in Milan.

The Rossoneri had reached a verbal agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for a €5 million loan fee with a €24 million buy option, and the player had already spent the past 48 hours in Milan undergoing checks.

However, following the results of the medical examinations, the deal has now been called off.

We earlier reported that Boniface has returned to Germany today to rejoin his club, Leverkusen.
