Italian giant, AC Milan announce the permanent acquisition of striker, Evelyn Ijeh from Club Tigres Femenil UANL. Following a successful loan spell that commenced in January.
Ijeh has committed to the Italian club until June 30, 2027.
During her loan tenure, Ijeh made 15 appearances and scored 4 goals, showcasing her impressive skills, pace, and dedication.
Her permanent signing reinforces AC Milan’s dedication to enhancing its women’s team.
Ijeh’s addition is expected to significantly bolster the team’s attacking capabilities.
The Nigerian forward has also been selected for the Swedish women’s senior team, set to face England and France in upcoming matches. Notably, Ijeh participated in the Nigerian Super Falcons’ training camp in 2021, although she did not feature in the subsequent friendlies.
