Nigeria Nation-Wide League One (NLO) side, Magate got off on a winning note in its first pre-season match as it ran riot over Zion International Football Club 4-1 in a Match which was played in the early hours of Thursday at the Obasanjo Farm Field, Ota Ogun state.
John Daniel opened scoring in the 23rd minute to put Magate in front.
Just after the half hour mark, Olaina Daniel cancelled out John Daniel’s opener, to draw his team back on level terms.
It was all square at the break as the grassroot team held the NLO side.
It was Adepoju Oluwaseun who restored Magate’s lead as he put the ball past the goalkeeper in the 70″ minute.
Adepoju then completed his brace in the 77″ minute as he increased the goal margin for Magate to put scorelines at 3 -1.
Francis Irivbemi put the icing on the cake as he put the game beyond Zion as he scored a fabulous goal in the 82″minute to put the score at 4 – 1.
Magate FC will continue their build up to 2020 NLO division one football season with another away game at Obasanjo Farm field in Ota tomorrow Friday, 13th of March, 2020 against Olusegun Obasanjo Soccer Academy by 7:30AM.
