Iheanacho was the unsung hero as Nigeria broke Egypt’s unbeaten record via his superb 30th-minute strike in the opening game of Group D at the ongoing 33rd Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday at the Estadio Roumde Adjia in Garoua, Cameroon.
Recall favourites, Pharaohs had been unbeaten in their last 16 group matches at the Africa Cup of Nations.
A few hours after he claimed the Man of the Match award, a delighted Iheanacho dropped a post on the social media platform, Instagram.
