African football legend, Kanu Nwankwo, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude as the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) came to a close.
As chairman of Enyimba FC, the “People’s Elephant”, Kanu took to social media to thank the entire team, staff, financier, and fans for their unwavering support.
“Thank you to the entire team and staff at Enyimba FC, I am grateful and humbled to have shared this season with you all,” Kanu wrote.
He also extended his appreciation to Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti for his support and the people of Aba for their “positive energy” in the stands.
Concluding with his signature chant, “NZOGBU NZOGBU ENYIMBA ENYI”, Kanu acknowledged the love and support, saying, “Let’s continue to move forward together.”
