Ajibade Nets Four As Atletico Madrid Puts Five Pass Huelva

Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade scored four goals in Atletico Madrid’s 5-0 home victory over Huelva in the Spanish women’s Premier Division on Saturday.

Ajibade who has yet to put her name on the scoresheet this season after scoring six times last season made a strong start in the encounter before scoring 27 minutes into the game.

The 22-year-old who is nicknamed RASH, featuring for the 34th time after joining Atletico Madrid last summer doubled her tally in the 51st minute.

Ludmila made it 3-0 in the 70th minute as
Ajibade completed her hat-trick two minutes later.

Ajibade then completed her goal haul in the 91st minute as her team won 5-0.

The former Robo FC player who has 3 goals in 12 appearances for the Super Falcons of Nigeria has now scored four goals in four league games this season.

After winning three games from their fourth league game this term, Atletico moved up to third position in the league table.

Also in Spain, Super Falcons Striker Asisat Oshoala featured for 30 minutes as league champions Barcelona defeated Athletic Club 3-0 in an away game on Saturday.

The current CAF women’s player of the year winner entered the game in the 61st minute.

Oshoala has now played four league games this season, scoring just once for the Catalans.
