Joshua Akpudje was in action for BFC Daugavpils as they forced Liepaja to 0-0 draw in their Latvia Higher league clash at the Stadions Daugava in Liepaja on Monday Evening, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The defender who has been ever present for his side this campaign was making his 12th league appearance this season for BFC Daugavpils.
The former Nigeria U-23 defender was solid for Daugavpils in the afternoon putting up an impressive performance as Coach Andrejs Kaļiņins men grabbed a vital point on the road which keeps them 5th on the log with 15 points, one point behind Liepaja who occupies the 4th position with 16 points.
BFC Daugavpils will however remain on the road as they travel to take on FK Spartaks Jurmala for their Latvia Higher League match week 13th clash on Friday the 25th of June 2021.
