Coach Abdullahi Biffo of Kwara United has credited the former Super Eagles Goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba for adding value to the team.
Speaking in a post match press briefing after their 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah on Sunday, Biffo noted that the former Enyimba FC safe hand has weilded his experience in leading the players on and off the pitch.
“He has brought leadership to the team and you can see the way he communicates with the team so that was one of the thing we miss last year” the gaffer said.
Dele Aiyenugba has now kept three clean sheets for Kwara United since his debut against Jigawa Golden Stars in Kaduna ,followed by the clash against his former team Enyimba and now FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
“There must be a coach among the player that every other players would respect” the Coach averred as he acknowledge the goalkeeper’s influence as someone who bears a worthy conduct.
The goalkeeper signed for Kwara United at the beginning of the season and he has described his move as a dream come true giving his long desire to play for a club he grew up around.
