Nigerian striker Anthony Nwakaeme is on the verge of sealing a move to Turkish super liga giant Galatasaray on a free transfer.
According to Turkish online outlet fanatik, the one capped Nigeria striker is very close to finalizing a deal with the club who has previously failed in their attempt to have him on their payroll.
Galatasaray is looking to booster their attacking options and have made Anthony Nwakaeme their priority target.
The 33-year-old who have held three meeting with the Yellow-Red Club since leaving Trabzonspor but could not reach an agreement on personal terms is understood to have arrived Istanbul for further discussion.
According to reports the Nigeria International is close to agreeing a deal worth 1.1-5 million Euros annually.
Anthony Nwakaeme who played a key role in Trabzonspor league title triumph for the first time in 38 years made 120 appearance for the club netting 41 goals and 36 assist since joining the club in 2018 from Isrealie side Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
