Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor has announced the re-signing of Nigerian winger Anthony Nwakaeme.
The 34-year-old returns to the club after a two-year stint with Al-Fayha in Saudi Arabia.
During his previous spell at Trabzonspor, Nwakaeme made 145 appearances, scoring 47 goals and providing 40 assists. He also won several domestic titles, including the Turkish Super Lig, Turkish Cup, and Turkish Super Cup.
According to Turkish website, 61saat.com, Nwakaeme’s new contract with Trabzonspor is for one year, with an option for an additional season. His annual salary is reportedly around 1.5 million euros, with potential bonuses tied to his performance in the upcoming season.
The Nigerian will be looking to replicate his previous success at Trabzonspor and help the team achieve their goals ext season
