Denis maintained that referees are to apply the rules guiding the game before, during and after every football matches without them there will be nothing like football officiating, adding that hitting hard on them will not all develop football in any country.
Denis who is the only CB who has scored 2 goals in the NPFL condemned the idea of allowing fans coming into the pitch where their is security that suppose to stop them.
“Though it is not new in Africa, it happens in other countries where fans attack referees when ever officiating did not favour them.
“Its time CAF has to look into it and make it a duty with country Federations. Football is a professional game so as the officiating. I think fans need to be educated on this more,” Denis said.
