Rafeal Nadal has opened another page in his career after he defeated Daniil Medvedev to lift his second Australia Open title and his 21st Grand slam in Melbourne, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The world number six recovered from two sets down and race to a 2-6 6-7(5) 6-4 6-4 7-5 victory in an epic encounter which lasted five hours and 24 minutes to win his 21st Grand Slam title to go ahead of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic as the all-time most successful tennis player.

The world number two Us Open champion Daniil Medvedev came closer than any man ever has in the Open Era following up his first Slam title with a win at the Slam event immediately, he came within two games of doing it. Only one man, Andy Murray, had ever even made the final before.
