Sixteen grassroot teams will lock horns for the ultimate prize as the Bet9ja Alimosho Football Challenge kicks off from 29th November to December 14th.
The two weeks football tourney which will take place in Abesan and Igando; a surburb of Lagos, is organized by Bet9ja Alimosho Super Agent in conjunction with Prince Gas Global Sports Concept.
Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Bet9ja Alimosho Football Challenge, Gbadamosi Adebola Sulaimon informed, “Tournament is a platform for players in the grassroot football academics to showcase their skills.
“No fewer than 16 teams will participate in the tourney starting with a knock out phase, for eight teams to qualify to the quarter finals.
“Football is about passion, so the teams and players will be rewarded for their passion as the winner of the championship, best player, top scorer and best coach will go home with an handsome cash reward.
“All participating teams will be kitted by the tourney sponsors.”
The LOC boss stated further, “I’m elated Igando and Abesan will host the tourney, on behalf of the LOC we promise fair officiating for the participating teams and also maximum security.
Draws for the Bet9ja Alimosho Football Challenge will hold Tuesday next week at AJ Hotel in Igando.
