Nigerian clubs Beyond Limits and Sporting Lagos have secured their spots in the knockout stage of the Gothia Cup in Sweden.
Both teams have accumulated six points each, with Beyond Limits defeating Rosenborg 5-2 and Sporting Lagos winning 2-0 against NorCal Premier.
Meanwhile, Tikitaka FC and Nigerian Eagles FC are still in contention, with four points each. Tikitaka FC drew 0-0 against FK Cukaricki, while Nigerian Eagles FC won 2-0 against US Gouvieux. Both teams need at least a point in their final matches to advance to the knockout stage.
The Gothia Cup, one of the largest international youth football tournaments, features four Nigerian teams this year.
