Portuguese club Boavista FC has announced its first signing of the season, securing Nigerian midfielder Ibrahim Alhassan on a two-year contract until the end of the 2025/2026 season.
The former Akwa United star and Super Eagles midfielder expressed his delight, stating, “Signing for Boavista was an easy decision, given the club’s greatness and my prior experience playing in Portugal, which I consider my second home.”
Alhassan added, “I’m excited about this challenge and look forward to meeting my new teammates and starting this adventure.”
Alhassan joins Boavista FC from Belgian side K. Beerschot VA, after successfully completing his medical.
