The Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Ahmad Ahmad has confirmed being tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, Owosports reports.
The continent apex football body, CAF has revealed that the Madagascan arrived in Egypt with mild flu symptoms, before getting advice to test for Covid-19. The update added that Ahmad’s results came back positive and will immediately enter self-isolation for 14 days.
A result that the CAF President Ahamd Ahmad confirmed via his twitter handle earlier today.
“This morning, I’ve been declared positive to #Covid19. I have mild symptoms, but I’m well. All the people I’ve been in contact with are prevented. I am now in isolation for 14 days at least. Take care of you, friends and family.”he wrote.
