Enyimba FC of Aba lost 4-1 against Pyramid FC of Egypt in the first leg of the quarter-finals of CAF confederation cup played in Egypt.

The return leg billed for Sunday in Aba Stadium will determine whether the Nigeria team will progress to the next stage of the game with the pressing need to over turn three goals deficit and probably add more.

In an interview on Nigeria Sports Express on Jordan FM on Saturday, the Captain of the side, Austin Oladapo admitted that their visitors aren’t pushover and expressed optimism of scaling through even as he expects a difficult game.

“For the past one week since we came back from Egypt, We have been working on our weaknesses and make sure that we left no stone unturned. We are already a wounded lion and we are going out there to see how we can overturn this result, said Oladapo.

Expressing the readiness of all the players, Austin noted that the motivation that has been pouring from all angles will inspire them to do what many see as ‘impossible’.

The skipper underscored the vacuum created by the unavailability of their mercurial midfielder; Anayo Iwuala in their last game and expressed confidence that the Super Eagles new man will add value to the team when he gets featured on Sunday.

“Anayo is a big plus to us and he has really been doing well. I think we missed him in the last game but there are also good people in the club. I believe we are going to see his impact tommorow and he is going to help us with his quality.

The match is scheduled for 2pm Nigerian time with NPFLtv platform and other media outfits expected to beam it live.
