CAFCC: Ebube Duru grabs brace as Rivers United humiliates El Nasr Benghazi 5-0

Rivers United on Wednesday walloped El Nasr Bengazhi of Libya 5-0 in their CAF Confederation Cup additional play-off round match.

The Coach Stanley Eguma were the best side of the game and became a favourite team going in to the second leg with five goals advantage.

Ebube Duru opened the the floodgate for goals from the spot in the 12th minutes before Kazie Eyinaya and Paul Acquah added up to the edge earning the hosts a three goal lead going into the break.

Rivers United continued their impressive performance after the break with Ebube Duru netting another one from the
spot kick and Malachi Ohawune completing the affairs with a thunderbolt strike.

The second leg of the game holds November 9 in Libya with Rivers United keen to get the best of the result to qualify for the group stage.
