Nigerian International Samuel Ckukwueze was on target in Villareal’s 2-3 home defeat to Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey match played on Thursday night.
The 23-year-old scored Villareal’s second goal of the match in the 42nd minute after Etienne Capoue had given the home side the lead.
Real Madrid fought back in the second half through goals from Vinicius Junior, Eder Militao, and Daniel Ceballos to turn the game around for the away side.
He has scored 5 goals in all competitions this season and four of the goals came in the Spanish Cup.
The defeat ensured Villarreal are out of the competition at the last 16 stages.
