Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen was in action for his Italian side Napoli, as they were thrashed by French lig Une side Lille by 4-1.
The 23-year-old triker was on the starting line up and was substituted in the 70th minute for Giovanni Simeone in the friendly played at Stadio Diego Maradona in Naples.
The French side were a goal up in the 17th minute through Bafode Diakite and Jonathan David, Adam Ounas, and Jonathan Bamba added three more goals before Giacomo Raspadori scored a late consolation for the Naples-based club.
The gangling forward has been impressive this season, scoring 9 goals and contributing two more to place Napoli at the top of the league.
The next assignment for Osihmen and Napoli is an away-league match against Inter Milan in January 2024.
