The Coach Aliyu Zubairu Kiddies U13 Cup has reached its exciting conclusion, with Barca Kiddies and Dickalo FA securing their spots in the grand finale.
The tournament, held at the Kwara Football Academy pitch, has lived up to its expectations, entertaining fans and football enthusiasts throughout.
In the semifinals, Barca Kiddies edged Future Stars 5-4 in a thrilling penalty shootout. Meanwhile, Dickalo FA defeated Kingshood FA 1-0, thanks to an unfortunate own goal by Abdullahi Ayuba.
The stage is now set for the final showdown between Dickalo FA and Barca Kiddies, scheduled for Saturday, January 11th, 2025, at the KFA Pitch inside the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin. Future Stars will face Kingshood FA in the losers’ final.
The tournament, hosted in honor of Nigeria’s U20 National team coach, has been a resounding success, providing a platform for young talent to shine.
