Kwara United Technical Adviser, Coach Tunde Sanni is optimistic about securing a positive outcome in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday six clash against Abia Warriors in Umuahia.
Sanni’s familiarity with the local terrain, having previously worked as an assistant to Erasmus Onu gives him confidence in his team chances.
Speaking after a light training session on Friday, Sanni remarked, “This is my former home; I know the terrain, and we know ourselves. This is an edge over them.”
Following a successful match against Remo Stars, he noted the players are in high spirits and eager to build on their momentum.
Currently, Kwara United is in 13th position in the league after four games with 5 points, they have an outstanding match against El-Kanemi Warriors pending.
Sanni underscored the need for strong performances to honor the club’s investment in the team.
