Kwara United gaffer Abdullahi Biffo has assured fans of the Ilorin based club that new striker Junior Lokosa will score good goals for his side this season.
United faithfuls have been worried that the former Kano Pillars’ striker has not been able to hit the form expected from him this season in Ilorin in the NPFL.
So far this season, the former NPFL goal king has netted one goal for Kwara United in six games and fans are expecting more from him this term in the League.
During the preseason, Junior Lokosa scored excellent goals for Kwara United most especially brace against Remo Stars in Ilorin and wonder goal against Gombe United.
Reacting to the talks among Kwara United fans and lovers about Junior Lokosa, Abdullahi Biffo assured them that the striker will soon be making Kwarans happy.
“I understand the worries of the fans, but I want to assure them that Junior Lokosa will score plenty goals for us.
“He is a different striker entirely and someone who can do wonders with the ball on the ground inside the box or outside,” Biffo explained to Kwara United media.
Meanwhile, Junior Lokosa is expected to lead the attack for Kwara United this coming Wednesday in Ibadan against Shooting Stars in NPFL match-day 8 encounter.
