COVID-19 : ODSFA Boss Expresses Concerns For The Indigents

The Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi has demonstrated his affections and concerns for the vulnerable at this critical time of COVID-19 imposed lockdown, which has grounded social-economical activities to a halt.

Akinyemi who said he was moved to distribute palliatives items to the indigent in Ijebu-Owo expressed his worries during an interview with the media on Friday.

He urged all who have the means to try rally round those relying on daily and menial jobs to get by at this time.

_”I feel for the vulnerable ones at this time; its not easy at all to get by for most people at this time, particularly those who feed on daily activities and menial jobs before now.

_”I was moved to distribute those food items without considering political and religious divides, and I think those who have the capacity to give, should try provide for the indigent at this time.”_ Akinyemi posited.

Akinyemi in company of his wife, Yeye Taiye, supervised the distribution food items such as bags of rice, packs of indommie and crates off eggs among hundreds of all commers at Ishanma, Ijebu Quarters, Owo Thursday.
