Newly promoted Italian serie A side Crotone have rejected Udinese’s bid for Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo

Crotone who have just gained promotion back to the Serie A are looking to retain the services of the Nigeria international.

Crotone president Gianni Vrenna has promised the fans that Simy will remain at the club for the 2020-2021 campaign.

The Super Eagles striker is enjoying his most successful season after he broke his personal record for goals scored in a single season when he bagged a brace against AS Livorno in the penultimate round of matches.

Lazio are also understood to be intrested in getting the Nigerian who moved to Italy from Gil Vicente in Portugal four years ago.

The 28-year-old inked a new deal with the Rossoblù in May 2019, keeping him at the club until at least June 2022
