FC Midtjylland has officially announced the departure of Nigerian goalkeeper Mark Ugboh.
The 20-year-old player has joined Portuguese side CD Mafra on a permanent deal.
Ugboh joined FC Midtjylland in January 2022 from FC Ebedei, a strategic partner in Nigeria.
During his time at the club, he made 25 appearances for the U19 team, winning a Danish championship, and also served as the third keeper for the first team for a period.
Last season, Ugboh was loaned out to Holstebro BK.
FC Midtjylland’s sporting director praised Ugboh’s talent and progress, stating, “Mark is a talented young goalkeeper, and we are proud of the progress he made during his time at FC Midtjylland. We wish him all the best in his future career.”
