De Gea Heap Praises On Amazing Uzoho

David De Gea has praised Francis Uzoho of the Super Eagles and Omonia Nicosia for his great performance last night at Old Trafford.

De Gea, who was a spectator on the night as his team searched for a breakthrough, lauded Uzoho for his heroics while speaking on Manchester United TV.

“Of course. I think he [Uzoho] had an amazing game.

“I think he made eight or 10 great saves for his team in the game but in the end, we scored a goal and for sure he made a great game,” De Gea said in an interview with MUTV.

The 23- year-old Nigerian International began his professional career in Spain for Spanish side Deportivo La Coruña before moving to Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus in 2019.

“I know he played in La Liga in Spain. He had an amazing game and congratulations to him.”

Although, Manchester United prevailed 1-0 in the Europa League match, but not before Uzoho made 11 stops.

The Nigerian international, who was filling in for injured starter Fabiano, managed to frustrate the home team for the most of the 93-minute match by making an amazing 11 saves.

Substitute Scott McTominay finally hit the back of the net with the 34th and final shot of the night for Erik Ten Hag’s side, but De Gea still wanted to single out the Cypriots’ no.23.

Uzoho made his first competitive appearance for his club at old Trafford Thursday night to the delights fans around the world.
