Dennis Links Up With Super Eagles In New Jersey

Watford FC striker Emmanuel Dennis has arrived the Super Eagles camp in New Jersey ahead of their second international friendly against Ecuador on Thursday.

He arrived the teams camp in New Jersey on Tuesday morning as players in camp rose to twenty one in number.

After missing the 2021 Africa cup of Nations in Cameroon, Dennis returned to the Super Eagles folds during the Qatar 2022 Worldcup Playoffs against the Black Stars of Ghana in March but was unable to help Nigeria pick the World Cup ticket Abuja.

The Watford FC man has been suffering from a knock picked up from Watford’s last few league games of the season.

Dennis scored 10 goals and assisted six for the Hornet last season but that was only enough to earned them a return to the championship.

Leeds united, Aston Villa, West Ham and Galatasaray all reportedly interested in the former Club Brugge forward, he has put discussions on his future on hold as he joined the national team.

The Super Eagles will face Ecuador on Thursday and will also begin their 2023 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Mauritius later this month.
