Following a disappointing 1-2 home defeat to Niger Tornadoes in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) opener, Kwara United’s Technical Adviser, Coach Tunde Sanni, has appealed to fans not to lose hope in the team, Owosports.com.ng reports.
In a post-match interview, Sanni acknowledged that the team’s performance was subpar but emphasized their readiness to bounce back. “We are spurred to action,” he declared. “We will approach our next match with a winning mindset.”
Sanni understands that fans may be disheartened by the team’s poor result on Sunday but remains confident that they will turn things around. “I don’t want our fans to lose hope in us,” he said. “Sometimes, it’s like this, but I promise we will do well.”
The coach’s words serve as a rallying cry to fans to continue supporting the team during challenging times. With their next match on the horizon, Kwara United is poised to put in the necessary work and emerge victorious.
The Harmony Boys would be on the road this weekend for their matchday two encounter against El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri in Gombe.
