Nigerian striker Kingsley Eduwo scored a brace as he inspired Al Orooba to a 3-0 win over Al Dhafra in their United Emirates league cup clash at the Dibba Al-Fujairah stadium on Thursday night.
Said Obaid fired the home side into the lead in the 27th minutes after being put through on goal by Khalid Yahya, Eduwo increased the goal tally ten minutes after with the assist coming off the boot of Khalid Yahya as the Nigerian converted to give Al Orooba a comfortable lead into the break.
The former Lobi Stars forward made the day miserable for Al Dhafra as he completed his brace scoring his side third goal in the final minutes of added time to take his season goal tally to five, scoring thrice in the league cup and twice in the league with three assists.
The match witnessed three Nigerians doing battle for their respective team with Yusuf Olatunji and Kingsley Eduwo featuring for the entire duration of the game in the colors of Al Orooba, while Al Dhafra had the services of Super Eagles striker Imoh Ezekiel who was on for 75th minutes before being replaced by Ivorian Eden Nrick.
