It was a festival of goals on day four of the Emir of Ilorin cup football championship with a total of fifteen (15) goals recorded.

It was a six goal thriller between Petvic Soccer College and Future Stars with the spoils shared.

Babatunde Amuda opened the goal rush on the fourth minutes when he powdered in a low drive free kick into the bottom left corner to put Petvic ahead.

Adebayo Oni doubled the lead in the 27th minute with Petvic cruising into the half time break with two goals lead.

With ten minutes into the second half Substitute Anyabuwa Favour converted calmly to reduce the deficit for Future Stars but Babatunde Amuda netted his brace five minutes later to increase the lead.

Oyelode Dami stole the show late on when he capitalised on the goalkeeper mistake to strike in the equaliser to earn a point for Future Stars FC.

Owoade Segun and Mohamed Kamal were on target as Abraysports FC thrashed Dickalo FC 3-1 in the group E opener.

In the other group game, ten men La Planet held Police Machine FC to 1-1 draw.

Sunrise FC stole the show late on to beat One Love FC 1-0.

Ashab FC inside the Unilorin mini campus stunned Kwasu 1-0 to grab all maximum points thanks to Abdulsalam Ibrahim’s first half goal.

Nigeria’s premier football league (NPFL) side Kwara United defeated Estee Guys United 1-0 to go top of group G.

Bashir Oba’s fifth minute goal was what the Harmony Boys needed to seal maximum points.
