Manager of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Wikki Tourist of Bauchi Usman Abdallah has spoken about what transpired and how his reign at Enyimba came to an end midway into the season, just after leading Enyimba to their record 8th NPFL title in the 2018-2019 season.
The Kano State born gaffer speaking to Journalist on Writer Lounge a WhatsApp platform said.
“I spoke with the chairman, I said you have to let me go, I need to go, we spoke and after two times I kept on giving them an offer to leave, I just don’t want to take up my bag and leave just like that.
“The working environment became hostile and there was no fun in it, I looked at it what am seeing, I think I knew too much in Enyimba, it a team whereby they don’t like working with people that are intelligent and understand what is going around, because they like pointing fingers around.
“This is my own story about Enyimba, I looked at it, it is not about losing your job after all for what? I don’t think it the money that kept me in Enyimba no.
“I said if I want a club I will get a club within a week , so when I finished, coming back to Wikki I didn’t want to stay I wanted to go back to Europe and finish the year in Europe so that I can have an opportunity to upgrade my certificate, my knowledge because I think I have a lot of things to learn, and football is changing by the day so there are new things and I looked at it that its an opportunity to go back and take some courses upgrade my knowledge and my certificate so that I can prepare and come back a year or two after.
“But then again, Wikki came they respected me because the Governor sent the Commissioner to discuss with me and I looked at it they went through a lot of people in Kano where I respect and can’t say no, so I decided to sign a five months contract with them till the end of the season,” added Abd”Allah.
Coach Usman Abd”Allah Is a UEFA B Licence holder, a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Kaduna Polytechnic, he is married with four children.
