Magic Stars put up a four star display as Israel Emmanuel bagged a hat-trick, to help his club defeat Abraysports 4-1 as the 2024 Evolution Cup entered its third day at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.
Isreal Emmanuel was the hero scoring the first goal in the 18th minute, as Magic Stars ran riot over Abraysports FC.
Emmanuel got his brace in the 24th minute to hand his team a two goal cushion heading to the half time break.
He then scored his third goal in the 54th minute, Wisdom Ukachukwu then added the fourth goal in the 59th before Abraysports got their consolatory goal late in the game.
Rolly FC also continued it brilliant performance as they made it three wins out of three, as they edged Star Builders 2-0 in the first game of the day with goals coming from Asata Friday and Tyongi Bem.
Mallam FC earned their first point in the Evolution Cup as they held Offa FC to a 1-1 draw.
Hammola FC and Imperial FC settled for a 1-1 draw courtesy of goals from Bashir Abdulkareem for Imperial FC and Ajibola Emmanuel for Hammola FC.
