Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey who is currently on the pay roll of Italian Serie A side Juventus could be on his way to Manchester United according to several reports on Italy.
The 29-year-old Welsh star left Arsenal for Juventus as a free agent last summer and he has been heavily linked with a move to United with rumours suggesting that he could be used as part of a swap deal to bring in French and world cup winner Paul Pogba to Turin.
The midfielder former national team manager, Coleman has however backed his Wales Compatriot to succeed should the deal go through.
Coleman who was in charge of Wales national team believes that Aron Ramsey performs wonderfully well under pressure and could be a perfect fit for Manchester United.
“He’s at his best when he’s under a bit of pressure, when he’s playing against the best teams and when he’s playing in the big games. If it’s not going to happen for him at Juventus he’s definitely the type of player who can handle playing for Manchester United.
“When you play for a club like Manchester United the jersey is much heavier than when you are with a smaller club in the Premier League. If you play for a big club you’ve got to handle that extra weight. He certainly has the appetite for that,” Coleman told the Mirror.
The Walsh midfielder has only started in nine league games this campaign with two starts coming in the Champions League fixture.
Despite the lack of proper game time, former Arsenal man has scored four goals but isn’t enough to convinced Juventus Manager Sarri for a regular starting breath in the team.
