Ex Super Falcons Captain Confirms Guingamp Departure After Six Years

Super Falcons striker Desire Oparanozie has taken to her social media handle to announce her departure from club Guingamp after a six years Union with the French ladies.

“After six years of playing for Guingamp, I won’t be continuing with them for the next season and I will be starting a new chapter,” she revealed on her official social media handle.

The former Wolfsburg of Germany goal poacher also showed appreciation to the fans and technical staff of the club who supported her during her stay with the club.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone at the club, the board members, the coaching crew, my teammates, the staff, and most importantly the fans for the amazing years”.

26-year-old who’s current deal elapses this Summer with no intention to renew made 106 appearances for the club during her six year romance, scored 45 goals in return, she has however, promised to reveal her next destination in the coming weeks.
