Kwara United beat Lobi Star of Makurdi to secure the service of former MFM winger, Alayande Abiola on a two year contract.
Abiola, who penned the contract today in Ilorin said he is excited to join the Harmony boys.
Alayande as one of the new recruits of Kwara United will be teeming up with the likes of former Nigerian international and Enyimba Goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba, Afeez Nosiru ,Micheal Ohanu, Jide Fatokun and Jide williams as the team prepares to take the new season by storm.
The prolific winger who has also plied his trade with Crown FC of Ogbomoso expressed belief that he’s going to justify the confidence reposed on him while serving his new club.
“All glory to God. I believe i will enjoy life here and score many goals” Abiola noted while expressing his mind after putting pen to paper.
Abiola last played for Buffles FC of Benin Vitalor League and he is expected to bring his wealth of experience and add more value to the cutting edge of Kwara United and also raise the level of goal conversion of the team- a major challenge they faced last season.
