No fewer than 30 players and 10 officials of the Nigeria National League side, Oyah Sports FC have been tested for Covid-19. owosports.com.ng can reports.
The test which was conducted at the General Hospital Minna on Saturday is in line with the directives of NNL to all clubs to provide a medically certified Covid-19 test results of their player and officials as part of their registration requirements.
According to the Public Relation Officer of the club, Yakubu Abdulraheem, he said: “We all went for Covid-19 test today in compliance with the NNL protocol”.
Yakubu told owosports.com.ng that the Suleja based club also used the opportunity to conduct an ECG test for all its players in a bid to check their level of medical and physical fitness ahead of the new season.
Oyah Sports, like Niger Tornadoes FC will be using the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna as their home ground for the new season billed to commence on Saturday 30th of January.
