Super Falcons midfielder Peace Efih has shared her delight after joining Portuguese Liga BPI side Sporting Braga.
The 22-year-old on Sunday completed a permanent transfer to 2019-2021 Taça de Portugal Feminina Champions on a two-year deal with a 12-month extension option.
Efih, who gives coach Gonçalo Nunes more options in attack, joined from Kiryat Gat in Israel and has also played for Edo Queens in Nigeria, Sporting de Huelva in Spain, and Zaragoza CFF in Spain.
“This career move is a perfect fit for me. I am so excited for this amazing opportunity, I can’t wait to get started. “Thank you Next MS Sports management for standing by me all through. God over everything for making it possible. It’s a new chapter”, Peace Efih wrote on her twitter handle.
The Super Falcons midfielder was in the Super Falcons squad at the most recent WAFCON, where she scored the second goal in Nigeria’s 4-0 victory over Burundi in the group-stage.
Peace Efih, who has already started training with the rest of SC Braga’s team, might be in line to make her debut against CA Ouriense on Sunday.
