FC Nilayo new signing Fatai Odunbaku Alarape has express his joy after he signed a two year deal with Abeokuta based NNL side, FC Nilayo.
FC Nilayo a privately owned club run by Hon. Bukola Olopade former commissioner for Sports in Ogun State under Otunba Gbenga Daniel played in Nigeria third division last season. The club made status swap with another private owned club 36 Lion of Lagos who pulled out from NNL with reasons best known to the owner.
“I’m very happy to have join a side playing in the NNL, FC Nilayo is a great team and I will do my best to help the team, have gone to so many clubs trials to try my luck in the past.
“I really want to thank God for making this a reality.” he concluded
The 17-year-old central defender also said FC Nilayo is fully aware of the task ahead and the management of the team has put in place what we need to succeed, “we are fully aware of the task ahead of us, we understand it’s not going to be easy but we are ready for challenges ahead.
Alarape was a member of Lagos State FA Cup winning team Smart City FC who surprisingly defeated 3SC and Eyimba in the Aiteo Cup last season.
He joined FC Nilayo from Sharon FC.
