FIFA Rankings: Super Eagles Now Africa’s 3rd Best Team
Silver-winning Super Eagles are rated the third best team in Africa, after it moved up 14 places to 28th position on the latest FIFA World Rankings for February, reports OwoSports.com.ng.
It impressive outing at the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast earned the three-time AFCON the new position, thus leapfrogging 2023 AFCON champions Elephants of Ivory Coast and Algeria Desert Foxes to the 4th and 5th spots respectively on the log.
Morocco remains Africa’s best team, followed by Senegal, Nigeria Ivory Coast and Algeria in the Top 5.
