The contingent of Golden Eaglets comprising of 30 players, technical crew led by coach Manu Garba and backroom staff are schedule to jet out of Nigeria for Sao Paulo next week Tuesday, 8th of October, for final phase camping in preparation for U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
According to a source at the Eaglets camp, disclosed that not all the players that made it to Turkey for UEFA/CAF Tourney will make the trip to Brazil.
“The shocking reality is that not all the players that featured in Turkey will be in Brazil.
“Thirty players making the trip to Brazil will be known before leaving Nigeria next week Tuesday and 21 final list of players for the tournament will be announced in Sao Paulo, Brazil before the World Cup.”
The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria are group alongside Australia, Ecuador and Hungary with the competition slated for Brazil between October 26 – 17th November this year.
Nigeria Golden Eaglets are the most successful country at the competition, winning it five times in the past.
