Barr. Isaac Danladi has reiterated that he still remains a football person despite his current role as Nasarawa State’s Attorney General and also the Commissioner of Justice.

Isaac Danladi made this known when the former Media Officer of the Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, Andrew Randa, in the company of Adams Jesse Odoba-Yacham and Richard Akolo Ajegena paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Lafia on Friday.

Andrew Randa, who led the delegation, used the opportunity to congratulate Isaac Danladi on his appointment as Attorney Gerneral of Nasarawa State and Commissioner of Justice, urged him not to forget his first constituency which is the football family.

In response, Barr. Isaac Danladi thanked the trio for the visits but quickly emphasized on the fact that he still remains a critical stakeholder as far as football is concerned, not just in Nasarawa State but in Nigeria at large.

“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for this great opportunity to be with you people again, despite your busy schedule we still found time to see ourselves”.

“I have been a football person all my life and the fact that I am at the Ministry For Justice does not mean we are no longer important”.

“It is in my DNA and as far as serving humanity is concerned, Nasarawa State comes first before anyone and I’ll play my role to make sure that we promote sports to the highest level, he concluded”.

Barr. Isaac Danladi was one time chairman of NPFL Club Owners Association of Nigeria before becoming the Permanent Secretary of the Nasarawa State Ministry For Youth and Sports Development.

He briefly served as the Honourable Commissioner For Environment and Natural Resources before he moved to the Ministry Justice where he holds the office of the Commissioner and also the Attorney General of the state.
