Former England’s World Cup-winning striker Roger Hunt has died at aged 83.
According to Futaa.com, the news of his death was confirmed by Liverpool who Hunt represented and became the second-highest goalscorer in the history of the club, scoring 285 goals in 492 appearances.
Hunt who scored 18 times in his 34 appearances for the national team joined Liverpool as a 20-year-old and went to win two league titles and the 1965 FA Cup during his 11-year stint.
In 1966 World Cup, Hunt scored three times during the tournament.
