Former Enyimba Midfielder Olisema Seals Move To Saudi Arabia League

Cyril Olisema who previously played for Enyimba International has completed his move to Saudi Arabian club Alkawkab FC on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old midfielder rejoined Akwa United for the 2022/203 NPFL season after the expiration of his contract at Enyimba in August having previously captained the side in the just concluded NPFL season carrying the People’s Elephants to finishing 7th on the log last season.

He signed a one-year deal with the Saudi Arabia Club until 2024.

Olisema got his NPFL breakthrough when he was age 21 making his debut for Awka United in the 2016/2017 season, spending four years whilst making 50 appearances for the Akwa-based club.

He then joined Enyimba from Akwa united after making 26 appearances and scoring five goals in 2019.

Cyril who is the brother of Ekene Nero Olisema of Akwa United also featured in CAF Confederations Cup for both Akwa united and Enyimba international scoring three goals in 21 caps.

Before moving to Asia, Olisema made a total of 161 appearances scoring 16 goals over six years.
