The season 1 of the show which started on November 5 is tagged “Naija soccer stars reality TV show “
According to a statement released by KFA Head of Media and communication, Ibrahim Jatto, “the son of Former Nigeria International and current Kwara United FC goal tender Dele Aiyenugba will be slugging it out with other contestants on the show for the 16.5 Million naira grand prize with an opportunity for a football trial in Argentina”.
Daniel is one of the fastest rising goalkeeper and has amassed significant numbers of individual awards at his teens.
He won the YSFON Ramat Cup consecutively with Kwara Football Academy between 2020-2021 and scooped the goalkeeper of the tournament in the 2021 edition.
The son of the former Enyimba FC of Aba safe hands also won the Kwara Youth League title last season with the Academy where he also emerged as the goalkeeper of the season.
It’s also on record that Daniel is yet to conceed a goal in the Kwara Youth league after 9 appearances,a record by any goalkeeper who have appeared more than five matches in the Kwara teen league.
Judges lined up for the show includes ex- super Eagles International; Femi Opabunmi , Ifeanyi Udeze and Ike Shorounmun. Analysts includes Miyen Akiri of TVC News and Kehinde Idris of Galaxy TV.
