Ex-Nigerian international, Friday Ekpo has hit back at former Manchester United defender Gary Neville over comment made over Odion Ighalo’s worth.
Gray Neville in an Instagram interview had earlier warned United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against splashing €20m on the Striker who is currently on loan at the Club.
Odion Igahlo’s impressive outing for the Red Devil has caught the attention of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is understood to be in the market for a striker and there have been suggestions the Nigerian could just have his loan deal turned into a permanent one.

“Is Ighalo worth £20m? Probably not in this market. He may have been if he continued scoring goals but you probably don’t need now to spend £20m,” former United captain Neville stated.
However ex-Nigerian international Ekpo hit back at Gray Neville’s comment told brila.net that Neville was very wrong with comment made over the former Super Eagles striker citing that he talking as a former defender, he will find it difficult to understand the value of a striker like Odion Jude Ighalo.

“The guys talking are defenders, including Neville – he clearly does not understand the value of a good striker; for a player who came in when the team was struggling and made an instant impact,” he said.
He further advised Odion to make a wise decision on choosing where he wants to play his football.
“So, I will advise Odion to make his decision based on what he really wants; is it Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Shanghai Shenhua? He should just make the best decision for himself”, he concluded.
