The Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, CON, has appointed Comrade Owolabi Aleshinloye, CEO and Publisher of Owosports.com.ng, as Special Assistant on Politics.
Comrade Owolabi in his acceptance message, expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for finding him worthy of the appointment and pledged total commitment and loyalty to the administration’s vision for Ogun State. He also extended appreciation to the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, for her unwavering support.
“My heartfelt appreciation also goes to my dependable Egbon, Hon. Kola Salako; our indefatigable leading leader, Hon. Kazeem Salako; the people’s representative at the House of Representatives, Hon. Tunji Akinosi; the dogged Chairman of our Local Government, Alhaji Wasiu Lawal; and all other distinguished leaders within the political space of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government,” he said.
Aleshinloye, a grassroots mobilizer and respected media professional, further recognized the steadfast commitment of leaders from Iju Ward, describing them as “the winning and largest ward” whose dedication to progressive politics continues to inspire him.
He described the appointment as not just a personal honor but a collective victory, dedicating it to Nigerian youths who aspire to uphold values, contribute positively to their communities, and work toward national greatness.
“As Special Assistant on Politics, I pledge to contribute meaningfully towards the success of this administration and the continued development of our dear Ogun State,” he affirmed.
With this appointment, Comrade Owolabi Aleshinloye joins the Governor’s political team, bringing his wealth of experience in media, community engagement, and grassroots politics to further strengthen the administration’s goals of inclusive governance and sustainable development.
