Shuhab Gara Gombe is ready to back Nigeria Football Federation president, Mr Amaju Pinnick for CAF Presidency, reports OwoSports.
The administrator in an Interview with Mitchell Obi on Sports Sasa declared he has no intentions viying for the sit of CAF Presidency. He however admitted that he’s ready to back any competent Nigerian for the seat.
“I am not interested, I have lost touch with the politics for now but if Nigeria can have a competent person to go there atleast we can support him.
Gara Gombe wasted no time to respond when asked if he will be willing to back the Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick for the CAF Presidency.
“Yes ofcourse we can back Amaju Pinnick, he is a Nigerian it is good when we come back home let us punch ourselves but when we are dealing with outside world let’s unite as Nigerians and support whoever we have if he can do the job,” he concluded.
