Welsh International player Gareth Bale has announced he is retiring from football at the age of 33.
The former Real Madrid winger was part of his country’s squad that played in the recent World Cup in Qatar crashing out in the group stage of the tournament.
He made his football debut at Southampton as a left-back and then followed by playing for Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid, and Los Angeles FC, scoring a career 141 goals.
He represented Wales’s national teams at all levels retiring with 111 caps for his country at the senior level with 41 goals. He helped his country to qualify for the European championship and World Cup.
He won several individual honors in England and Spain and was influential in the Real Madrid side that won three successive Uefa Champions League.
